Karnataka Kala Tilaka Guru Smt Uha Datar in concert on the 11th of March, at 6 PM, at the Shivarthreeshwara Center (JSS), 8th block Jayanagar, Bangalore.
Nirantara Narmada festival is a day long celebration of the life of Natyavisharade Guru Smt Narmada. Known for her Nattuvangam skills and her creative choreographies, she has left behind several solo performing artists of calibre and teachers of repute in her students.
Her student Smt Poornima Gururaja, Director, Kalasindhu Academy of Dance, took it upon herself to conduct the festival in her memory the first weekend in March every year. .The festival started on the year 2009 has presented to the Bangalore audiences artist of national repute such as Kalaimamani Nartaki Nataraj, Padmabhushan Alarmel Valli, Padma Shree Prathibha Prahlad, Padmabhushan Swapna Sundari, Guru Smt Rhadha, Padmabhushan Prof. C.V. Chadrashekar and Padma Shree Leela Samson and Karnataka Kalashri Guru Vasundhara Doreswamy.
