India Aviation 2016 for general visitors from tomorrow

Hyderabad, 18th March 2016... After the Grand success of India Aviation 2014, Ministry of Civil Aviation, Government of India jointly with Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) is organizing the 5th Edition of India Aviation from 16-20th March 2016 here in Hyderabad at Begumpet Airport. Now it has reached the third day today.
The five day biennial civil aviation show which was kicked off on Wednesday and now reaching a second phase of the show. Starting from tomorrow for next two days i.e. on Saturday and Sunday, the 19th and 20th March, general visitors are allowed to visit the show.
What people can see during these days is flying display by Mark Jefferies, static display of some or all aircrafts, they can visit exhibitors, stalls. There are more than 200 exhibitors from 12 countries.
General public will get to watch some or all of the aircrafts at the static display. They should not get disappointed if some of the aircrafts are not available as exhibitors may change their plans, take out the aircrafts as this is the business event. The primary objective of it is Business in nature, to attract investments in the Aerospace sectors, into the country in general and Telangana in particular.
Mark Jefferies and team from UK are back to perform acrobatics. Visitors can watch the spectacular flying display in the sky next two days. This time they will do with four Extra 330SC aircraft. Four Pilots with 4 single engine aircrafts. Mark Jefferies, Tom Cassells, Chris Burkett, Steve Carver, Michael Pickin all British Champions, together they form the Global Stars acrobatic team, make excellent Formations and Solo Displays. These four pilots from Global Stars Team are lighting up the skies of Hyderabad with their stunning acrobatics for the past few days and will continue on the last two days as well. These flying displays will be held twice a day. Once in the morning at 11.35am and second time in the afternoon at 3pm. It will be for duration of 15 to 20 minutes. Visitors are requested to plan their time accordingly to get fantastic experience of flying display. The Mark Jefferies’ show in the year 2014 arouses great enthusiasm amongst the crowd.
The Global Stars team has recently performed at Avalon, Australia in March, Ahmadabad, India in April 2015, Zhengzhou, China in September 2015 .Bahrain (BIAS) in January and now in Hyderabad
The entry is through tickets. The entry tickets can be booked on www.bookmyshow.com. The general tickets are priced at Rs 300/-. The tickets will also be available at all branches of Axis Bank. They can also buy tickets at the venue.
There will be two visiting sessions for general visitors on 19th & 20th March. One from 10 AM to 1 PM and other from 2 PM to 5 PM. The visitors who buy tickets as general visitors on 19th and 20th are allowed to go in the specific session and allowed to spend that much time only.
Parking arrangements have been made at Begumpet airport Cargo Area. No private transportation will be allowed inside the Begumpet airport premises during the general public days.
General Visitors can see static flights 30 feet away from barricade. No visitor is allowed to board any aircraft.
General visitors are requested not to carry food, water, eatables, big hand bags, purses, any liquids, banned items etc. inside the show strictly for security reasons. It is desirable that visitors do not carry mobile phones as well to avoid congestion. Sufficient arrangements are made for food and water inside the venue. Public are also informed that they will be able to view different aircrafts from a barricaded distance. They cannot & should not expect to enter any plane. All the security procedures of any operating airport will be strictly adhered to at the Begumpet Airport.
The primary objective of the event is Business in nature, to attract investments in the Aerospace sectors, into the country in general, & Telangana in particular. This is not a Mela. The exhibition timings are 10 AM to 5 PM. The exhibition concludes on Sunday, 20th March. Public are requested to cooperate with the organizers to make the show a big success.
