EMC India Centre of Excellence (COE) today acknowledged and celebrated the spirit of womanhood by saluting its women employees for their valuable contribution to the company. On the eve of International Women’s Day, the company lauded the efforts of its women employees in making it a great place to work. To celebrate women power at EMC India COE, the company is celebrating the entire week as “Women’s Week”, with an interesting mix of career development as well as team building activities.
There are several interesting programs planned during the week. The India Chapter of Women’s Leadership Forum (WLF) organized a ‘Walk of Solidarity’ around the company’s Bangalore campus. Numerous employees exemplifying the spirit of EMC’s women employees, along with the India COE Leadership Team, walked for the cause of celebrating womanhood. Lakshmi Rebecca, the famous talk show host, director and producer led the Walk.
WLF which also ensures growth of woman leaders of India COE is facilitating sessions with the senior leadership team under its Speed Mentoring program, however this session is meant for both men and women at EMC. Employees of any rank can meet multiple leaders as part of Speed Mentoring. To promote the growth of women in the organization and add value to their careers, special Learning and Development Programs for Women will be conducted during the week.
Adding to the fun element of celebrations was the Super Woman Kiosk wherein all the ladies of the organization clicked pictures. Incredible experiences were shared and all their happy faces added a new meaning to yet another colorful day at EMC India COE.
