Bangalore 7th March 2016: In the memory of Late Dr. Uma Shankar Tiwari, D.S. Research Centrehas organized a Blood Donation and Free Health Check-up Camp in association with Rotary-TTK Blood Bank on 6th March 2016 from 10 a.m. till 1:00 p.m. at D.S. Research Centre, 53, Shirdi Sai Mandir Road, Cambridge Layout. Over 60 people were benefited from the Camp .

Dr Geethanjali Mada (Clinic - in - charge medical) says “The gift of blood is the gift of life. Blood donation is a generous act. In our Country, someone requires blood every 2 seconds and one donation can potentially save 3 lives. The first and foremost advantage of donating blood is no doubt the exhilarating feeling of saving someone’s life. It helps both the donor and the recipients. It reduces the risk of heart attack and improves cardiac health, replineshes blood, burns calories. Hence everyone should come forward and donate blood and save valuable lives. D.S. Research Centre is conducting blood donation and awareness campaign as a service to mankind.”
