Burger King Restaurants in India to introduce Chicken Fries


Bangalore, 18th March 2016: Burger King India Private Limited (“Burger King”) is all set to launch Chicken Fries today at participating restaurants in India for a limited time only. Chicken Fries are made with white meat chicken coated in a light crispy breading seasoned with savoury spices and herbs. Shaped like fries, Chicken Fries are perfect to enjoy with a delicious dipping sauce.

“The demand for Chicken Fries in the U.S. has been incredible,” said Rajeev Varman, Chief Executive Officer for Burger King. “We’re confident our guests in India will savour joining the Chicken Fries fan base.”

Chicken Fries are a phenomenon in the U.S market. The passionate consumer demand has been fantastic. The product has occasionally appeared on the menu as a limited-time offering in the U.S. over the years. The BURGER KING® brand has seen an overwhelming number of enthusiastic tweets, dedicated Tumblr and Facebook posts from devoted fans expressing their love for Chicken Fries. In the summer of 2014, Chicken Fries were brought back on the menu for a limited time, prompting 380 tweets per minute, and ultimately led the product to be completely sold out within a few weeks.

Chicken Fries will be available as a 5 piece per order with a dip at Rs. 79/- and 9 piece per order with two dips at Rs. 139/-.
