Bausch & Lomb participated in the 5th Indian Salon & Wellness Congress, Awards 2016 took place in Hotel Pullman & Novotel, Aerocity, New Delhi.

Mr. Sanjay Bhutani, Managing Director, India & SAARC at Bausch & Lomb India was one of the speakers of the sessions. While speaking on the growing demand of the aesthetic treatment Mr. Bhutani said, “The global medical aesthetics market is estimated to grow at a CAGR of 10.8% from 2015 to 2020. North America held the largest share of the medical aesthetics market in 2015. However, the Asia-Pacific region is poised to grow at the highest CAGR of 12.6% in the next five years. Factors such as rising consumer awareness and interest in aesthetic procedures, strong local economies, aggressive marketing by leading U.S. and European companies in Asia, decreasing social taboos, and rising medical tourism are propelling its growth.”

Bausch & Lomb has entered into India’s booming aesthetic market with launch of leading U.S. brands like ‘Thermage’, ‘Fraxel’ & ‘Vaser’ last year. The move comes in to address the burgeoning 25 Billion INR beauty treatment market. Bausch & Lomb intends to cater to India’s HNI’s (high net worth individual) segment who are looking & demanding for world-class aesthetic treatments. This year they have come up with brands like Liposonix, Isolaz & Obagi skin care to address body-contouring, anti-acne treatment & professional skin care segment.
