Chandigarh, March 04, 2016: The Chandigarh edition of Palate Fest kicked off today with an overwhelming response from the residents of Tri-City. Mr. Vijay Kumar Dev, Advisor to the Administrator, UT Chandigarh inaugurated three-day long Palate Fest Mini at Leisure Valley amidst guests and media.  Ruchi Sibal and Aditi Kapoor, Co-Founders, Palate Fest Pvt. Ltd., Kavita Singh, Managing Director CITCO, Mr. Jatinder Yadav, Director, Chandigarh Tourism were amongst a few who graced the occasion with their presence.

Residents of City Beautiful greeted The Palate with great zeal and enthusiasm. Food and Music enthusiasts were seen congregating in large numbers at the Leisure Valley in awe of the much awaited festival to begin. The Palate took off by greeting the guests with culinary delights from diverse food brands and live performances by Jatin on Acoustics.


With Palate Fest, Chandigarh gets its first Food & Music Festival. This is also for the first time that Chandigarh residents will get an experience of an authentic Food & Music festival taking them on a journey of gastronomical delights.  This one-of-its-kind celebration of gourmet cuisine will see some of the country’s leading food brands setting up pop-up restaurants at the venue.

Some of the brands that have put up their pop-up restaurants are to the likes of Organica, Fizzy Food Labs, Parvatiya Preserves, Keventers, Pickle Maker- Pickles by PC, Giani, Barista, Bonhomia, Kylin, Delhi Chutney Co., Fat Lulus, The Taj, The Lalit, Mountview and Boheme.
