Five-Time Asian Billiards Champion wins another game in straight frames


3rd March 2016, Colombo:  Five-Time Asian Billiards Champion, Pankaj Advani continued on his winning form defeating South Korean's Minhu Baek, in four straight frames, 100-5, 102-72, 101-0, 101-23.


Pankaj started in remarkable form, scoring his first break of 79 in the first frame and followed it up with breaks of 57 and 81 in the two consecutive frames.


"As I had mentioned earlier, there is a higher level of unpredictability in the 100Up format, which while it makes it more exciting is also way more challenging. Kicking off the Championships with strong starts, I am beginning to feel more comfortable on the tables" Said, India's Golden Boy at the end of Day 2.


Pankaj on Day 1 had won a double-header defeating Sri Lankan's Mansoor Mohammed Mubeen and Anil Rohana in straight frames as well. Pankaj will now match-up against  Suriya Suwanasingh of Thailand on Day 3 of the Championships at 10:30 am Sri Lankan Time.
