Vans is gearing up for the skateboarding tour of the year “The Vans HolyDeTour 2016” in association with HolyStoked Collective.Vans India has organized a 5 day skateboarding tour which will bean admixture of professional & amateur skateboarders, photographers and filmier. The concept of the tour is to provide a platform for amateur skateboarders from different disciplines to interact, learn, skate and most importantly fuel their passion for the sport.
Vans believe that mainstream exposure is necessary for the sport to grow into the lifestyle that it universally is. Skateboarding is a sport like no other. The sport thrives on camaraderie amongst skaters. The Indian community is growing at a pace like never before. The tour bus of Vans HolyDeTour 2016 is a luxurious 45 seater turbo bus branded to perfection and loaded with portable ramps so the skaters can skate anywhere-anytime they want to. The bus will have 10 International skateboarders from various backgrounds along with 10 HolyStoked skateboarders and a team of 5 filmier and photographers from a reputed production house.
The balance 20 seats are for amateur skaters from across India who were selected via an Instagram contest with the help of the HolyStoked team.
The tour starts in Bangalore makes its way to Hampi and finally culminates in Goa.
