Mumbai, February 9, 2016: ‘Planet Earth’ and ‘Nature’s Melody’ have inspired Maestro Music Director and Violinist, Uttam Singh, to compose Independent Music, in a series of original songs which will each be separately released at the Daastane Melody, Music Concerts promoted by Smoke Communication in association with Havas Media Group India and Bright Advertising.

The first song titled ‘Baawri’ will release during Daastane Melody, Music concert, Uttam Singh Live with Padma Bhushan Udit Narayan and Rupa Chak at Rangsharda Auditorium, Mumbai, 7pm, February 20, 2016. The concert aims to build support for avoiding dangerous climate change, spreading the message, telling people to – “Do Your Bit.. Save Earth - Save Life” and also help for the Hemophilia Society of India (Mumbai Chapter).

“At its core, Baawri is an appeal to ‘Save Earth- Save Life’. It is an attempt to create a fresh series of music for the audience to enjoy and feel inspired. The first presentation is the melodious expressions of Earth, who falls madly in love with Nature and makes her, turn Baawri (madly in love)”, said Uttam Singh.

Melody is musical, poetic and soothing. It is a composition that titillates the imagination, fills you with happiness and cajoles your mood. Uttam Singh and melody are synonymous with each other - starting from Painter Babu to Waris, Dushman, Dil to Pagal Hai, Gadhar Ek Prem Katha and many movie scores; where he continuously created the magic of super hit melodies for Bollywood.
All great compositions look for a perfect voice - a voice with perfect ‘Sur’, excellent texture and hypnotic tonality.  So far Lata-ji and Asha- ji have always been the voices of Uttam Singh’s imagination, so when he was presented with the idea of Earth being the heroine for the song, presenting her intense love for Nature, he wanted a voice so feminine, hypnotic and perfect that it could create the mesmeric divine beauty of Earth and the gushing emotions of a woman (Earth) expressing her love. After a prolonged search he discovered the voice of Rupa Chak which he found convincingly perfect.

“The way a fashion designer needs a glamorous model to present his designs stylishly over the ramp, similarly, a music director needs a singer with excellent sur, intense voice and melodious presentation for his songs to mesmerize the audience. Rupa’s voice quality  is so good and  so perfect in her sur that during my entire recording I never had to use any machine to tune her sur - uncommon in today’s time”, explained Singh.

“Baawri is just the beginning. Soon we will be unveiling more youthful, thoughtful and rhythmic musical numbers to enthrall our audience at the series of Daastane Melody, Music Concerts in Mumbai, Delhi and other cities”, he added.
