This Valentine weekend and the release of two movies ib the box office of two love stories – Fitoor and Sanam Re these two films belonging to the same genre locking horns at the box office on February 12 2016 and it would be very interesting to see which movie catches the viewers attention.

Fitoor is an Indian romantic drama film directed by Abhishek Kapoor, produced by Siddharth Roy Kapur, and written by Kapoor and Supratik Sen based on Charles Dickens' novel Great Expectations And one does have great expectations from the movie given its stellar star cast featuring

Fitoor this movie story follows a young Kashmiri boy, Noor, his muse Firdaus, and a mercurial Begum, through love lost and realized over the course of two generations. Thirteen-year-old Noor, an impressionable boy, is lured into the world of the Begum - the wealthiest woman in town. Young Noor falls in love with the Begum's daughter, Firdaus. Suffering from a broken heart herself, the Begum finds her mark in Noor. Noor obsesses over Firdaus, someone who belongs to a world completely different from his. Seasons change and Noor leaves his hometown to move to Delhi to build his career. He strives to be accepted into the sophisticated social circles that Firdaus is a part of, while the Begum plots retribution on their young and innocent love.

Sanam Re  The movie has been directed by Divya Khosla Kumar and is produced by  Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar and co-produced by Ajay Kapoor on T-Series and Prateek Entertainments. Mithoon, Jeet Ganguly, Amaal Malik, Epic Bhangra and Raju Singh composed the music and Sameer Arya is the cinematographer for the film.

Sanam Re, on the other hand, is riding high on its musical score and brilliant cinematography. The movie is a love triangle revolving around Pulkit Samrat, Yami Gautam and Urvashi Rautela. The film has been buzzing courtesy the alleged Pulkit-Yami affair. The film features Pulkit Samrat, Yami Gautam and Urvashi Rautela in the lead roles while Rishi Kapoor appear in crucial supporting role. It’s too early to surmise if the affair stories will translate into footfalls but the film definitely looks to be a visually delightful spectacle replete with mellifluous tunes.

The music for Sanam Re is composed by Mithoon, Jeet Ganguly, Amaal Mallik, and Epic Bhangra. Raju Singh has composed the original background score. The lyrics are penned by Rashmi Virag, Mithoon, Manoj Muntashir, Manoj Yadav, Ikka Singh and Kumaar. The music rights of the film have been acquired by T-Series
