‘Saregama Classical’, Saregama India’s flagship mobile application which caters to the lovers and aficionados of Indian Classical Music globally will soon have a new program - Classical Studio. It will offer a unique mix of legendary classical music masters performing in the backdrop of India’s greatest monuments. It will help promote both Classical music and India’s monuments to people within and outside India, thus helping both culture and tourism of the country.
For this, Saregama recently shot with Ustad Shujaat Khan against the historical monuments of Delhi on the 9th of February’16.
Going forward, these videos, shot exclusively for Saregama, will feature artistes in exquisite outdoor locations including a number of historical locales of India. The videos will feature a unique blend of vocal and instrumental performances from prominent artistes such as Pandit Jasraj, Pandit Hari Prasad Chaurasia, Pandit Shiv Kumar Sharma, Ustad Amjad Ali Khan, Vishwa Mohan Bhatt and many more.
