New Delhi,7th February, 2016: Navjyoti India Foundation, along with India Vision Foundation (IVF), a well-respected philanthropic organization founded by Dr. Kiran Bedi brings the fourth “Kids on Ramp-age”, a unique event on 6th February, 2016 at Select Citywalk, Saket, New Delhi from 5.30 pm onwards.

Navjyoti India Foundation and IVF, both working together are focused on the need of  equal opportunity for every child to grow and provide education to the children in urban slums and to the children of prison inmates, vocational training to youth, women empowerment and rural development in the villages of Delhi and Haryana.

The stage was conquered by the Underprivileged Children, including the ones who are out of prison doing a catwalk with the icons of the corporate world to draw attention towards their untapped talent and the need for equal opportunities in terms of Quality Education, Better Standard of Living and Vocational Training.

‘Kids on Ramp-age’ brings together the Beneficiaries & Patrons on the same platform, showcasing this amazing partnership, providing much needed support and mentoring to the kids and youngsters.  This event strengthens the emotional bond between the “provider & recipient”, as they spend time together at the event, discussing the future plans and continued involvement-engagement with Navjyoti for this good social cause. ‘Kids on Ramp-age’ is now in its fourth year of operation and has seen many a fold increase in donors who have made a positive impact to a noteworthy number of under-privileged lives.

The event was attended by Dr. Kiran Bedi, Founder Member, Navjyoti India Foundation and more than 300 attendees from India and abroad.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Kiran Bedi said, “‘Kids on Ramp-age’ enables children in education with Navjyoti and India Vision Foundation to integrate with the Haves of Society--The Haves with the Have Nots learn to value each other.”

More than 100 beneficiaries in the age group of 4-22 years from Navjyoti’s different Project Houses spread over Delhi, and over 70 villages of Haryana walked the ramp with around 50 special achievers and celebrities from corporate and social world, showcasing this special partnership.

Designers from India, Dubai and Thailand provided wings to the dreams of the young kids by designing exclusive clothing range for them. These designer clothes added beauty to the 4-5 exclusive themes of the event. The show aims at promoting new opportunities and talents among the youngsters in the springtime of their lives. It serves as a spotlight for these innocent faces, where they not only get to adorn the labels of trendy designers but also a chance to walk on the ramp with their patrons and shed off their inhibitions.

This year Navjyoti, along with its event supporters planned a fun-filled event with live band, memory walk back for mentors and patrons with video clips and new partnership induction for the new donors.
