Spreading its magic for the first time in South, India’s biggest kids festival hosts two days of fun, entertainment, learning, and shopping in Bengaluru!
Bengaluru 7th Feb, 2016, New Delhi: India’s biggest kids festival, Krackerjack Karnival, had organized two days (6th – 7th Feb, 2016) of non-stop fun, entertainment, learning, and shopping along with a wide range of exciting activities for kids and their parents at the Jayamahal Palace Hotel,Bengaluru.
The ‘exhibition cum carnival’ now in its 7th edition, had organized its launch event in Bengaluru with great fanfare. The true spirit of the IT city of India was clear with a landmark of 15,000 visitors attending the festival in a time span of two days. As the magic of Krackerjack Karnival unfolded, smiling faces could be seen all round as kids had a blast indulging in fun and innovative activities while the parents also participated with great enthusiasm.
Kids were very excited to meet and greet with their favorite cartoon characters - Chhota Bheem and Gang, Gizmo from Superbook and Dora, the explorer, at the stage area, which had back-to-back performances and sessions from morning till the evening.
Workshop arena at the Krackerjack Karnival became an instant hit among kids with specially created educative activities being held throughout the day, promoting learning through fun mediums.
The festival was full of fascinating exhibits, showcasing a wide variety of the latest products and services – right from apparel and accessories, books and toys, baby care and maternity, furniture and home décor, outdoor and sporting goods, to services such as vacation planning, catering and cakes, children’s photography and portraits, and much more.
Hansika Murlinathan, a young mother and a housewife shared her experience, “My kids are thrilled to be here, and I am happy to see them learning so many new things. There is something for everyone; I would definitely recommend parents to attend this event along with their kids.”
Marketing consultant for an IT company, Pradeep Natrajan, had brought his whole family to the carnival including his parents, his wife, and his kids in tow shared his experience, “This is the first time that I have been able to enjoy my weekend with my whole family together under one roof. What makes it special is that my kids are engaging in so many creative and educational workshops organized here.”
The kids industry is one of the most attractive and fastest growing markets in the country. Incidentally, the festival has transformed into a one stop destination for not only families, but SME’s and leading brands as well assisting them to connect with large number of quality audiences.
The Bengaluru edition of the Krackerjack Karnival has been organised in association with Shermrock, who is participating with the carnival third time in a row. Speaking on the alliance, Mr. Amol Arora, Vice Chairman & Managing Director, SHEMROCK & SHEMFORD Group of Schools said, "We feel happy to be associated with this this foremost kids' carnival and it is heartening to see that so many of the children studying in our schools, have got an opportunity to display their talent & confidence on such a big stage in front of thousands of parents and loved ones."
