Noida/Mumbai, 22nd February 2016:  Inox Wind Limited, India’s leading wind energy solutions provider to IPPs, PSUs, Corporates, Utilities and Retail clients, is pleased to announce the commissioning of the common power evacuation facilities at its Lahori site in Madhya Pradesh.  The common power evacuation systems for the wind park comprise of a 220 KV sub-station and a 220 KV transmission line and are capable of supporting power evacuation of 200 MW.  Inox Wind’s Lahori site includes projects for leading Independent Power Producers like Ostro Energy and Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited (TPREL).  Ostro Energy is backed by Actis, a global pan-emerging market private equity firm.  TPREL is a 100% subsidiary of Tata Power, India’s largest integrated power company.



With the recent commissioning of more than 800 MW of common infrastructure facilities across states, the successful commissioning of the common power evacuation facilities at Lahori is testament to Inox Wind’s project execution prowess and further strengthens the company’s position as the leading wind power solutions provider in Madhya Pradesh.   Inox Wind presently has more than 600 MW of developed and under development projects in the state.  With one of the largest project site inventories in the country across wind rich states, the company has several projects which it is currently developing as part of its turnkey solutions for clients.
