Novatech Robo Bangalore, in association with, Robofest Lawrence Technological University Michigan USA organised “ROBOTIC FESTIVAL 2016” at Basava Bhavan Bangalore where more 140 students, from various schools including four govt school participated in robotic competition.
All the four prizes in Bottle Sumo Junior special Category (1st to 4th Std) were swipe by students from INDUS INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL,
1st prize by Arjun, Saamya and Tanush
2nd prize by Nikhil sharma, chiranjiv Babu, and Mattu,
3rd prize by Martin, Ines Lee, and Rahul
4th Prize by Megha,
In the Junior category Bottle sumo 5th to 8th Std were shared between Sophia School, Indus International school, and Kushal from Channasandra Government School.
In addition prizes were own by students from Bishop Cotton, Sri Vani school, Venkat International School, National High School Basavangudi and DPS South
On display are various Robots EDUCATIONAL ROBOT: Novabot to build several science and mathematical models, COMMERCIAL ROBOT: a follow me trolley for malls, and wheel chair for paralytic patients, and drones for delivery of blood and essential medicines, in cities like Bangalore to beat the heavy traffic, reduce pollution and cost effect. And ENTERTAINMENT ROBOTS like reactive meter for measuring the reflexes actions of IT professionals and desk work professionals.
Novatech Robo is planning to hold Robofest competition in various districts of Karnataka and various states of India, the winners from these places will travel to USA for World Championship to be held on 13-14 May 2016 at Lawrence Technological University Michigan USA.
Robotic Education brings Creativity, Innovation and Analytical ability in addition to self confidence and team work which is lacking in our education system, which is essential for national integration and nation building. Our rich experience led us to the understanding that STEM Education is the future of our nation.
