This year's edition of the Premier Badminton League saw GoSports athletes put in stellar performances for their teams. Rising badminton star Shikha Gautam was a part of the winning Delhi Acers team, while HS Prannoy, Ruthvika Gadde and Gurusaidutt were a part of the runners-up Mumbai Rockets team.
The star player for Bengaluru, Kidambi Srikanth, pulled off an outstanding win against two-time Olympic Silver medalist and former World No. 1 Lee Chong Wei in a league match between Hyderabad Hunters and Bengaluru Top Guns, thus defeating the badminton legend for the first time in his career.
