Chandigarh, February 25, 2016: The unique and interactive “Post a Selfie on Facebook” Contest by Connect Broadband drew more than 1680 participants, whose selfie’s were posted on Facebook. 20 lucky contestants who got maximum likes for their photographs posted on Connect Facebook were chosen as winners. Prizes won include Bluetooth Speakers and Power Banks.
Taking the selfie obsession to the next level it was first of its kind initiative by a telecom major. A highly attractive photo booth decorated with roses was installed which was the centre of attraction at the festival. The most captivating part of the event was that people from all walks of life and age groups participated in the contest adding much excitement and galore to this year’s Rose festival.
Connect Broadband had set up a Free Wi-Fi Hotspot at the Chandigarh Rose Festival during which the “Post a Selfie on Facebook” Contest was announced for visitors. Photographs of people were clicked and uploaded on spot on Connect Broadband’s Facebook Page. Selfies with maximum likes were chosen as contest winners and got entitled for exciting prizes.
