Celebs dazzle at Red Carpet of Lux Zee Cine Awards 2016
Glitz, glamour and a lot of razzmatazz was seen at ‘Lux Zee Cine Awards 2016’ co-powered by FEVICOL and Dabur RED Paste. The who’s who of the entertainment world dazzled the Red Carpet of Lux Zee Cine Awards, wearing the best of designer outfits and posing for the paparazzi with the glimmer of hope in their eyes to bag the prestigious Zee Cine Award for their performances respectively. Amongst the celebrities were Salman Khan, Ranveer Singh, Sonakshi Sinha, Anil Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Parineeti Chopra, Kriti Sanon, Subhash Ghai, Sonam Kapoor, Shatrughan Sinha, Sushant Singh Rajput and Ankita Lokhande, Rohit Shetty, Vidyut Jamwal, Kajol, Riteish Deshmukh and many more graced the evening with their presence to celebrate the best of cinema.
The starry affair started with celebrities walking the red carpet to enthralling performances and honoring the finest and most deserving performances from the film industry. Others who attended the Awards included Isha Koppikar, Esha Gupta, Amy Jackson, Kabir Khan along with his wife Mini Mathur, Sonali Bendre and Goldie Behl, Mohit Chauhan, Rituparna Sengupta, Mahesh Manjrekar, Nana Patekar, Radhika Apte, Tusshar Kapoor, Yo Yo Honey Singh amongst others.
For the first time ever in the history of awards in India, Lux Zee Cine Awards 2016 reached out to various cultures with India’s first ‘Integrated National Awards’ that acknowledged and awarded talents across other regional film industries namely Marathi, Bengali and Telugu. The award function this year was instituted with a panel of esteemed jury members namely Rakesh Roshan, Anurag Basu, Leena Yadav, Prasoon Joshi, Ravi K Chandran, Resul Pookutty and Shantanu Moitra who selected the best in various categories including acting, direction, music, cinematography, amongst others. The event started with the host and dost of the evening – the ever young and dapper looking Shahid Kapoor along with Koffee King Karan Johar who left the audience rolling on the floor with laughter with their amazing chemistry and funny gags. The evening saw some breath-taking performances by the best in the industry.
If the award function was all about Movies, Masti and Magic, the Red Carpet was all about glamour, quirky moments and a lot of fun. Celebrities namely Salman Khan, Arjun Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Parineeta Chopra amongst others walked down the aisle making a fashion statement and have done impromptu acts which left the paparazzi asking for more!
