Lazoi, India’s unique online healthcare solutions, added another chapter to its recent growth and brand consolidation appointing Rupak Sengupta as Co-Founder.
The move would see Rupak take over the Brand & Marketing verticals at the organization and put to use his in-depth experience and brand building skills in order to consolidate Lazoi’s presence in the online healthcare segment.
Rupak is a post graduate from XLRI, Jamshedpur and comes to Lazoi with 25 years of experience in building brands and New Business Extension Opportunities. He has been instrumental in conceptualizing and launching multiple brand campaigns for reputed industry names such as Bayer, Godrej Agrovet & BCCL.
Speaking on the appointment, Spokesperson, Lazoi, said, “It will be a great boost for the company as we are in the process of re-building the Lazoi brand as well as in the process of augmenting our existing resources to chart a new growth path which will take the company to next level. In his entire corporate career he has successfully launched several new products by analyzing the customer need and behavior pattern so as to make the product as per the requirement of the end user and some of them are market leaders now only proves the correctness of his marketing strategy . He was one of the top performers with BCCL in consecutive years and part of the think tank to drive business in Eastern part of this country. He is an avid sports enthusiast who loves to watch F1 racing and likes to keep him updated with knowledge about latest management developments in the corporate world. Henkel One Of 100 Most Sustainable Corporations
Henkel announced today that it has been included again in the ‘Global 100 Most Sustainable Corporations in the World Index’ (Global 100 Index), and rated Gold by international rating agency, EcoVadis. The company also said it received the Silver Class award from RobecoSAM, which is an investment specialist focused exclusively on sustainability investing.
Henkel has an overall score of 73 points, which is well above the average of 41.7, and is among the top 2 % - in both the household and personal-care category. Henkel also received the Silver Class award for its sustainability achievements in the Sustainability Yearbook 2016 from RobecoSAM. The list includes the most sustainable companies in each industry as determined by RobecoSAM’s annual corporate sustainability assessment. Over 3,000 of the largest companies in the world are invited to participate in this assessment every year.
Uwe Bergmann, Head, Sustainability Management, Henkel, said these results confirm that the company is right on track with its sustainability strategy. By 2030, Henkel aims to triple the value it creates for the footprint made by its operations, products and services. The company will publish its new sustainability report on 25 February, 2016, including a progress report on the interim targets until 2015 and new ambitions for 2020.
The Global 100 Index of Corporate Knights, a Toronto-based media and investment advisory company, lists the top overall sustainability performers in their respective industrial sectors. They are selected from over 4,600 companies having a market capitalisation of over $ 2 bn.
