CashKaro.com - India's largest Cashback & Coupons site and Asia's largest crowd-funding platform Milaap.org have come forward to support the families of martyrs this Republic Day to ‘Stand By Martyrs’. This crowdfunding campaign is an initiative of CashKaro and Milaap to raise funds for the families of India's soldiers lost in battle, through a unique project with Vasantharatna Foundation.
The project invites members of CashKaro to donate their cashback from Jan 22 to Feb 1, 2016 and become a pillar of support for the martyr's families. Milaap has partnered with Vasantharatna Foundation, which works to uplift the families of martyred jawaans of the Indian Army.
Often when a soldier sacrifices his life to protect the nation, their families are left with little means of financial support. Vasantharatna foundation aims to empower women from martyred families and help them rediscover their potential, provide financial and emotional counselling in addition to legal support to them, education and training for their children. They also aim to increase public awareness of the sacrifices of soldiers. All funds raised will help provide educational scholarships, memorial awards, and outbound learning programmes for children and wives, computer basics, English communication and vocational training for families of martyrs.

CashKaro is working in cooperation with Milaap to raise awareness and funds #StandByMartyrs initiative. Cashback donations are accepted until February 5th, 2016. Funds will be directly sent to Vasantharstna foundation, who will disburse the donations to the family based on the needs.
